⏱️ 40 minutesNavratriEkadashi

Water chestnut flour samosas—crispy and vrat-friendly.

Ingredients

  • Singhare ka atta
  • potato
  • peanuts
  • sendha namak

Preparation Steps

  1. Make dough with singhare ka atta and warm water
  2. Boil and cube potatoes, roast and crush peanuts
  3. Mix filling with spices and sendha namak
  4. Roll dough, cut into semi-circles
  5. Fill and seal into samosa shape
  6. Deep fry in ghee until golden brown
Nutritional Note: Vrat foods are typically sattvic — fresh, light, and easily digestible. They avoid onion, garlic, and regular salt, using sendha namak (rock salt) instead. These foods are designed to keep the body light and the mind focused during fasting.
