This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our services — the Bhakti5 web application and WhatsApp chatbot service for Hindu spirituality and festival information. To provide accurate spiritual timing services, we collect minimal, essential information:

• User Location Profiles: We maintain a simple user database (without passwords) that stores your timezone and city information when you provide your city name. This is essential for calculating accurate sun, moon, and planetary positions for your location.
• Reminder Preferences: When you set up personalized reminders for fasting, festivals, or other spiritual practices, we store your reminder preferences to send you timely notifications.
• Temporary Message Context: We cache your last 2 messages for 24 hours to maintain conversation context, allowing us to understand follow-up questions. These are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
• Browser Local Storage: The web application stores your selected city preference in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.

• No Passwords: Our user database does not contain passwords or authentication credentials.
• No Permanent Chat History: We do not archive or permanently store your conversations beyond the 24-hour temporary cache.
• No Personal Identifiers: We don't collect or store names, email addresses, or phone numbers beyond what's necessary for service functionality.
• No Device Information: We do not collect device IDs, IP addresses, or any technical identifiers.
• No Usage Patterns: We do not track your usage patterns, preferences, or behavioral data beyond the temporary message context.
• No Contact Lists: We do not access or store your WhatsApp contacts or any other contact information.
• No Media Files: We do not collect, store, or access any photos, videos, or documents you may send.

• Minimal User Profiles: We maintain only essential location and timezone data to provide accurate spiritual timing calculations.
• Real-time Processing: Your questions are processed in real-time with only temporary context caching (last 2 messages for 24 hours).
• Limited Data Retention: Message context is automatically deleted after 24 hours, and location data is only stored for service functionality.
• Purpose-Limited Collection: All data collected serves specific functional purposes (location for calculations, message context for conversation flow).
• First-Principles Computation: All Panchang calculations are computed locally from astronomical algorithms. No external APIs are called for Panchang data.

WhatsApp Integration: Our chatbot service operates through WhatsApp's platform. We do not have access to your WhatsApp account information or contacts. Our chatbot only responds to direct messages sent to our service number. We currently do not support group chats. We recommend reviewing WhatsApp's privacy policy for their data practices.

Cloudflare: Our web application is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of their infrastructure. Please review Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, social media pixels, tracking cookies, third-party advertising networks, or user behavior tracking tools of any kind.

We do not serve personalized advertisements or engage in targeted marketing based on user data.

• We do not display personalized advertisements based on your interests, behavior, or any collected data.
• We do not participate in advertising networks that track users across websites or services.
• We do not create marketing profiles or segment users for advertising purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any user information with advertisers or marketing companies.
